"Confident I can Play" says Aaron Jones ahead of the Texans

Green Bay running back, Aaron Jones, said in a press conference today that he is "Confident" he can play but "its up to the team Doctors". The Packers running back was reported to have had a "very mild" calf strain suffered in practice on Thursday.

Jones also didn't practice on Friday following the "injury". The Packers star has played 5 games this year with 389 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Packers face the Houston Texans Sunday in their next game in which it is "still being assessed" if Aaron Jones will play or not.

The head coach of the Green Bay Packers, Matt Lafleur said when asked if Jones will play or not, " we'll give it up to game time to see if he can do it or not".

Packers are currently sitting at the top of the NFC north at 4-1 but take on Texans this Sunday. The last time these two teams had met in game was in 2016 in which the Packers won that game 21-13.

You can catch Green Bay packers vs Houston Texans on FOX at 12:00 noon central time.
