Bengals Star Player's "Frustrated" with their lack of involvement

Sources are saying that Bengals Defensive linemen Geno Atkins and Carlos Dunlap are both unhappy with their lack of involvement within the team this season.

Both Atkins and Dunlap have been a key staple of the Bengal's defense with a combined total of ten Pro Bowls between them.

The news comes after Atkins' return from a shoulder injury which sidelined him for the opening 4 games.

The two linemen this season have been relegated from being stars of the Cinncinati defense to being rotational pieces. In past seasons it would had taken just to the 3rd Quarter to achieve 94 snaps between them, this year it has taken them two full games.

Tyler Dragon of Cincinnati.com is reporting that both players are "Upset" about their roles being reduced.

The Decision seems "bewildering" to some especially with multiple injuries on the Bengals Defensive line with Sam Hubbard, DJ Reader and Mike Daniels all on injured reserve.

Dunlap commented on Bengals Instagram post to joke about the fact that he is playing outside linebacker and is "social distancing" from the field.

The future of Atkins and Dunlap is unclear at the minute as we speak, a new era is ushered in Cincinnati with rookie Joe Burrow at the reigns at QB. Whether A trade is on the horizon we do not know yet but this is a road bump for the Bengals rebuild.
